Over Memorial day weekend Libertarians came together from across the country and around the world to nominate their president and vice presidential candidates at their annual national party convention. And for many the top of the ticket for the fall and the general election season is troubling, deeply troubling.
But lets look at it from this perspective for just a minute, shall we? My prediction is that the Johnson-Weld ticket will be Libertarian-lite in that they’ll run under the Libertarian party banner but will, instead, draw from the well of the Never Trump Never Hillary movements in a kind of “A Coalition of the Willing.” Or as Bill Clinton and Dick Morris did so infamously in the 1990’s, “Triangulation.”
In either case I like Bill Weld and have enormous respect for Gary Johnson, ever since 2011 when he first ran for the presidency. Then as now Johnson stands for some of the same things that I do, but with Charles and David Koch, through Bill Weld, pulling on Johnson like he’s a puppet and they’re the masters even I can’t stomach that!
I hate Charles and David Koch with every fiber of my being for what they have done to this great country of ours and this beautiful world in which we all live. They are evil incarnate, in my opinion, and hell itself would be a far worse place with them in it.
I call LINO – Libertarian in Name Only! And for those disgruntled and disaffected Libertarians I offer this as your Battle Cry:
Hold fast, and as Jesse Ventura says, “Stay Vigilant…”

To those willing to read: This post will take a bit for you to get through, BUT I promise you, you will get through it and come away wanting a far better way of life than the one that you have now…
And us little people are reminded by those in authority over us, again and again, that these things are nice, make one feel really good deep down inside, but to just update your social media pages and forget all about it kids. Caution is the order of the day.
So We the People should just ignore the questions that we have free-flowing in our minds and skip right to the answers, right to the proverbial climatic ending because this is all very easily explained by those in the know IF we just give ourselves over to the answers, willingly of course.
Leaving it up to us to decide as to whether or not we want to quote unquote “buy in to the notion” of this that or the other thing. Some do. Largely though, some don’t. And it’s really all up to the beholder of the information that is in front of them, clearly, as to whether or not they want to believe it or not, accept or reject it or not, but always with the WARNING always with the caveat: Do not venture down this rabbit hole of conspiracy because you will live to regret it [maybe].
But here’s the thing:
The Elite cannot have it all, because there’s plenty to go around – for all of us.
You read that right my fellow American, my fellow free Western Worlder. There is plenty to go around. Plenty of natural resources. Plenty of finances. Plenty of healthcare. Education. Transportation and the like to go around. Enough in fact to circle our globe multiple times over IF you are willing to give yourself over to the truth or the axiom of the Native American which reads:
“Take only what you need and leave the rest as you found it…”
Greed and selfish behavior is the problem and it will always be the problem until the problem is gotten rid of by the Peoples of this World.
And the absolute best example of where I can find, where I can look to for a much-needed repeat of history is in that of the assassination and slaughter of the brutal Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and his Italian Socialist Party henchmen. Drug through the streets of present-day Milan, Italy he was drawn and quartered by the People of Italy in April of 1945. A fitting end to an otherwise brutal, brutal man.
Mussolini’s death is a case study of what many, if not all, of our world leadership needs to endure. .
We have a duty to ourselves and our posterity to preserve what we can while it is still here. So as to replenish our natural supply. Otherwise people such as the Rothschild family, theRockefeller family, and many others will continue to take what is rightfully ours, the Peoples of this Earth’s.
We are our own best friend or our own worst enemy folks…Choice is yours, a decision has to be made before it is too late. I’ve made mine. Care to join me?

And as the process kicks further into the middle of New England and the Central United States as well as the remainder of the Mid-West and West I can’t help, again, but to be reminded of the movie, “Fargo” and the epic lines between the two kidnappers in that movie. Particularly this one. Watch.
And how this entire primary process has been nothing more than the politics of ‘We Split that’. What does the politics of ‘We Split that’ mean?
“Arguing about an inconsequential or trivial aspect of a task or issue…”
All throughout this process we have been regaled with the rules and regulations concerning the two-party system here in the United States of America by pollsters and pundits alike.
And the same can be said on the Republican side of the ledger. Trump, Cruz or Kasich win one or more than the other it is soon-enough arguing ‘We split that’ in terms of their delegates.
And we all remember how this happened in the State of Louisiana when a Ron Paul supporter and a delegate for the state’s Republican party had his hip broken and he was arrested by police for attempting to lodge a complaint at a local party meeting. Watch.
Splitting hairs is violent, no? History repeats itself, no?
Especially when the so-called political establishment doesn’t get its way.
Threat. Innuendo. Summation. Lies. Aspersions on one’s asparagus. And splitting hairs politically, just so ‘the other guy’ can get his or her (as the case may very well be) way.
Split hairs much?

The lawsuit, as well as the formal letter, allegedly written by Loughner himself to US Court petitioning the court to bring the suit is reportedly a hoax. But lets look at the broader context here for a few moments.
“Despite Sirhan’s admission of guilt, recorded in a confession made while in police custody on June 9, a lengthy trial followed. The court judge did not accept his confession and denied his request to withdraw his not guilty plea so that he could plead guilty.Years later, Sirhan recanted his confession, claiming not to remember making it. [..]” – Sirhan Sirhan Wiki[pedia] page section titled “Prosecution”…
“Years later, Sirhan recanted his confession, claiming not to remember making it.” –Something that he continues to maintain to this day…
“Breaking into people’s mind from a distance without them noticing it, to insert with surgical precision specific new thought-implants into their deeper unconscious, for them to alter dramatically their former usual behavior according to a particular plan or strategy.” – “SUBLIMINAL HYPNO-PROGRAMMING (SHP): A NEW SCIENCE AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY” By Dr. Philip Sauvage, a 1988 study and position paper on the subject
“Loughner had been posting material online for some time via his MySpace account and on YouTube under the name “Classitup10”.He gave his views on terrorism, federal laws, and his belief that the government was brainwashing the citizenry with language.” —Tucson shooting Wiki[pedia] page section titled “Perpetrator”…
“Breaking into people’s mind from a distance without them noticing it-implants into their deeper unconscious …Years later, Sirhan recanted his confession, claiming not to remember making it. Loughner had been posting … his belief that the government was brainwashing the citizenry with language.” — Taken proportionally from various quotations here for this blog posting
But because men like Ted Cruz and Donald Trump lack the will, resolve, courage and intestinal fortitude to stand up to a tyrannical police-state government, like that of the one here in the United States of America, under Barack Obama, that deliberately affects, and adversely places the American people as well as free and equal citizens of this world in mortal danger everyday we will have more Jared Lee Loughner’s and Sirhan Sirhan’s to come.
Mass killings by altered state will continue across this country and around this world. Perfectly innocent men, women and children will meet a fate which they aren’t even suppose to endure from someone who may well be totally unaware of what they are doing when that fate is met.
Happy Easter 2016, stay safe out their fellow citizen…

“We don’t think there is a First Amendment right to classified documents..” – U.S. Attorney Catherine Dorsey, Department of Justice
WASHINGTON, D.C. – When I read that quote via The Intercept the other day I could hardly believe my eyes, much less my head as it was taking it all in.
A duly appointed United States Attorney ,arguing on behalf of the Federal Government in the forced feeding cases at Git-Mo Bay, Cuba, Catherine Dorsey, arguing before the D.C. Court of Appeals, said this before the panel, God and everyone else – and with a straight face no less – in regards to the Public’s right to know.
This to me is unacceptable.
It is unacceptable because number one this is the United States of America. Not some third-rate banana republic. Second. Because this is the United States of America were we have laws which constrain government from saying these kinds of things to US. Third. Representative or appointed governance needs to be reminded, apparently daily, that they are servants of the public’s trust. What does that mean?
In a nut shell: Those who vote, or who participate in the electoral process here, by their vote intrust elected representatives to go to Washington, D.C. and govern according to the laws of our land when it comes to transparency, openness, honesty and effective government. Failure is not an option because the law doesn’t allow for wiggle room, interpretation, etc. It’s open and shut in that regard.
So in other words whether I’m a citizen or a journalist and I come to you, as my elected or appointed representative seeking information in regards to a matter or matters of the public’s trust in operation said is duty bound to respond to the request, and nothing like what came out of Attorney Dorsey’s mouth at that Court of Appeals hearing should EVER be heard much less accepted by the People. Period. Full stop.
Yet and still because a certain collective of journalists are seeking vitally important information about the treatment, welfare, and condition of Git-Mo Bay detainees the Federal Government says you have no right or privilege to said information Mr. or Mrs. Journalist. Shut up and go away. Unacceptable! (And quite frankly, unbelievable.)
Whether you agree or disagree with the continued detainment and operation of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a holding place for ‘the world’s worst’. You have to agree that the People, under the 1st Amendment, have a right to know what’s going on down there. How ‘the world’s worst’ – despite it all – is being handled and treated. Fairly or unfairly.
As you know Git-Mo detainees have been on a hunger strike since the middle of 2005 because of ill-treatment and lack of due process under international law and basic human rights. Despite being regarded as the ‘world’s worst’ they are still entitled to be treated fairly, equally and given their day in court – be a Military Tribunal or the International Criminal Court at the Hague in the Netherlands.
And unless and until they get their day in court, they should be able to go on a hunger strike for as long as they like. The Muslim faith, as does any other faith, calls for prayer and fasting. They are or would be, essentially, carrying out the dictates of their beliefs, and at the same time peacefully protesting, as they see fit. (Peacefully assembling, just as the 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution calls for.)
As Americans: Is this what we’re all about? Pain and humiliation?
Then, per our very own 1st Amendment we have every right to be called out and call ourselves, more importantly, out on the carpet for that pain and humiliation.
You say well, “These are killers. Animals. Inhumane. They give us no quarter. They humiliate and behead us. So why should we care if our guys and gals in uniform are forcing them to eat? If that’s all you can complain about, really, Rhett, your argument is pointless, weak even.” Ever heard of being the bigger person?
We all remember the beheading of Independent American Journalist James Foley. – Around 2014. How he was treated, handled, humiliated by I.S.I.S., I.S.I.L. Etc.
So if some solider, sailor, airman or marine wants to shove some oatmeal down some ‘murder in’ Muse lam’s throat so he can live long enough to die’ why should we care? If only.
Folks this is far bigger, far more at stake here than just some oatmeal being shoved down another human being’s throat who doesn’t want it.
This is about who we are as a nation, as a people, and whether or not we can be the bigger and better person. To lead by example. To discuss, openly, our foibles, follies, and faults. We are not perfect. And we never ever will be. But maybe, just maybe we can get a little closer to being better, and being better about our Wars. Politics. Governance. And more.
To admit, for once, that our government does wrong. Daily. And such a discussion, such a moment should come under this President, President Barack Obama, who should be willing to go the extra mile and have that open discussion, that honest debate.
“Publicity is justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants; electric light the most efficient policeman.” – U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis
Until then, “Good night and good luck” fellow Citizens of Earth…

WASHINGTON, D.C. — I just finished reading an article from MSN News Services, via Reuters and the AP on the so-called Bush-era torture programs/enhanced interrogation techniques during the early days of the War on Terror and I must say I am experiencing and have been experiencing a myriad of emotions, a veritable roller coaster ride of feelings on this pending report for the last two weeks.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what, respectfully, Mr. Obama & Co. are hiding? Why the need to delay, and deny the American people, their right to know? Additionally why the need to provide cover for the Intelligence Community? Finally why, in this article I read, was a pending report from out of the White House, “accidentally emailed” to an Associated Press reporter?
These are but some of the many questions some of the many points of emotion I have been wrestling with, and again, for the last two weeks.
And so it goes…
I learned something this week and I also want to correct, publicly now, a record of standing I have long-held against a former President of these United States, Dwight Eisenhower. I contended that it was former President Eisenhower who started the C.I.A., it was not. It was in fact Harry Truman who started the C.I.A., BUT and his later years he, like so many of us do, had a change of heart on all things Central Intelligence Agency. Here, is where the change of heart began.
And so it goes…
I said all that to say this. The White House, more importantly this President, Barack H. Obama, II., and the honorable, had better come clean. He has but two whole handfuls of months left in his presidency to serve. He has a real opportunity. A real chance to level the playing field to correct the record as it were for the good of all mankind. To become something far more than what I have titled him under this #blogpost as, an ‘ACCIDENTAL’ Statesman.
Because, and I will close with this. Comments such as these from online news articles, though good and very informative, WILL NOT suffice,
“The report does not draw the legal conclusion that the CIA’s actions constituted torture, though it makes clear that in some cases they amounted to torture by a common definition, two people who have read the report said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the still-classified document publicly by name.
The Senate report, the State Department proposes to say, “leaves no doubt that the methods used to extract information from some terrorist suspects caused profound pain, suffering and humiliation. It also leaves no doubt that the harm caused by the use of these techniques outweighed any potential benefit.”
Those methods included slapping, humiliation, exposure to cold, sleep deprivation and the near-drowning technique known as waterboarding.
The White House document is significant because it also reveals some of the State Department’s concerns about how the CIA’s tactics will be portrayed around the world.”
COMMENTS like these, for me at least, add up to duck and cover, run and hide, that age-old game of cat and mouse, that has been played throughout history both time and memorial by our fathers, grandfathers and forebears. The Cold War is over folks!
Yet Barack Obama, it appears wants to do nothing more than allow the Intelligence Community to play with the lives, fortunes and sacred honors of We The American People. It would appear to me, in the very least, that ,his attitude and actions of late, the Constitutional Law Professor has an obligatory disdain for the Rule of Law. It says, by his actions, that the Intelligence Community could give a fat rat’s rectum less about the Rule of Law OR that they only care about the Rule of Law when it is more than conveniently necessary for them to do so.
Such an attitude, such an approach toward governance and toward the everyday people who elected him to high office amounts to what Hollywood calls, “creative license”. And creative license will not cut it Mr. President! Respectfully.
Peace.
