LINO – Libertarian In Name Only

ORLANDO, Florida – Barely twenty-four hours in and already the Libertarian party of two thousand and sixteen is starting to experience dissention in the ranks.

Over Memorial day weekend Libertarians came together from across the country and around the world to nominate their president and vice presidential candidates at their annual national party convention. And for many the top of the ticket for the fall and the general election season is troubling, deeply troubling.

Many Libertarians say that with the assention of former Massachusetts Governor William Weld to the vice presidency that it will just give the North American Union types and Wall Street Big Money Donors a paper tiger in a Gary Johnson administration, should he win the presidency in the fall.

Because from sun-drenched Florida and the grave of the late great Economist Harry Browne, the 1996 and 2000 Libertarian party nominee for President of the United States of America, you can hear the battle cry of LINO – Libertarian In Name Only!

No doubt the Johnson-Weld ticket will tell Libertarians and you fellow voter nothing could be further from the truth. No paper tigers here, no LINO’s allowed! And so it will go, no?

But lets look at it from this perspective for just a minute, shall we? My prediction is that the Johnson-Weld ticket will be Libertarian-lite in that they’ll run under the Libertarian party banner but will, instead, draw from the well of the Never Trump Never Hillary movements in a kind of “A Coalition of the Willing.” Or as Bill Clinton and Dick Morris did so infamously in the 1990’s, “Triangulation.”

Seeking out those disgruntled and disavowed  Democrats and Republicans who just can’t stand the idea, much less stomach it, of another Clinton or that for matter a Donald J. Trump in The White House.

Or, maybe not? Maybe just maybe it’s what they all really want, and it’s just going to be made to look like it’s not? Just so the media, talking-heads, politicos and party bosses can have something to talk about on the nightly news.

In either case I like Bill Weld and have enormous respect for Gary Johnson, ever since 2011 when he first ran for the presidency. Then as now Johnson stands for some of the same things that I do, but with Charles and David Koch, through Bill Weld, pulling on Johnson like he’s a puppet and they’re the masters even I can’t stomach that!

I hate Charles and David Koch with every fiber of my being for what they have done to this great country of ours and this beautiful world in which we all live. They are evil incarnate, in my opinion, and hell itself would be a far worse place with them in it.

I call LINO – Libertarian in Name Only! And for those disgruntled and disaffected Libertarians I offer this as your Battle Cry:

Hold fast, and as Jesse Ventura says, “Stay Vigilant…”

‘The End of an Era?’ -Hopefully? With the End of ‘Kiss A’ Old Establishment Politics

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big fan of professional wrestling, aka “sports entertainment [television]”, and for years there’s been no one better at it than World Wrestling Entertainment or the WWE.

Owned and operated by The McMahon Family ,with its patriarch Vincent K. ‘Vince’ McMahon, Jr. as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the McMahon Family has had a choke hold – pun intended – on the ‘sport of kings’ for decades, for good or for ill.

In the early 2000s  after the purchase of the WWE’s long-time wrestling rival World Championship Wrestling or WCW from AOL/Time Warner out of Atlanta, GA. USA Mr. McMahon created something called “The Vince McMahon Kiss My A#$ Club,” in which he would have various wrestlers from WCW (as well as something called Extreme Championship Wrestling or ECW) to kiss his dairy air on live television every Monday night on the WWE’s “Monday Night Raw,” a cable television program, from 2001 to 2008 during the so-called “Invasion Era” when wrestlers, whose contracts that he had purchased from AOL/Time Warner would come on the Monday night program on Comcast-NBC-Universal’s own USA Network “and get down on your knees, pucker your lips together and kiss my a#$,” as Mr. McMahon would so eloquently refrain before the kissing commenced. Here are some examples:

They say “that art imitates life,” as the poet and essayist Oscar Wilde so eloquently refrained in his “The Decay of Lying – An Observation” piece from 1889.

And such is no more true than in the case of American politics. It to is the blood sport of kings just like professional wrestling.

How that both bleeding and kissing one’s dairy air in politics seems to be a part of everyday life here in the United States of America almost without cause or reservation.

“Going after it with reckless abandon,” as the late great color commentator and play-by-play man of wrestling announcers Mr. Gordon Solie used to say.

Take for instance: Hillary Clinton and her 2016 effort to become America’s first female president.

In no time that I can remember has their ever been a politician to both pander (bleed) and have her dairy air kissed on the regular than the former Secretary of State.

(An almost immediately regret ,by some, for ever having done it in the first place sets in, and this kind of buyer’s remorse begins.)

Have you noticed?

Let me give you two clear examples of some politicians who will come to regret, eventually, having kissed Mrs. Clinton’s a#$, especially in two thousand sixteen.

Example #1:  Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill.

At no time, before or since, has Mrs. Clinton’s dairy air been kissed more than by Mrs. McCaskill.

Example #2: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Although through no-fault of his own, but that of his wife, respectfully. Who’s cozy relationship with Bill and Hillary Clinton began with their long-time friend and former Mayor of New York City David Dinkins.

Mrs. de Blasio may well come to regret ever having met or having had an association with Mrs. Clinton for the sake of her husband’s political career.

From threats to intimidation, lies and innuendo both Bill and Hillary Clinton have spent a political lifetime pandering and being pandered to for the sake of a seat at the head table..

So good morning, hopefully? And, “Bye Felicia. Bye.” To ‘Kiss A’ Old Establishment Politics?

ISIS is the New Irish Republican Army (IRA) via the CIA

BRUSSELS, Belgium – The free world is in ‘tail-spin’ mode, yet again, over the recent terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium. And I can’t help but notice all this terror today is a lot like the Irish Republican Army (IRA) days of the 1970’s and 80’s.

We all remember those days, right?

The days when the ‘Iron Lady’ (then Prime Minister of Great Britain) herself, Margaret Thatcher would stand in the parliament and regal the world with tales of how wrong the IRA was. Watch.

Ah those were the days. The Iron Lady made clear who the enemy was and what had to be done to stop them.

This of course was in the days before so-called ‘terrorist organizations’ like the Irish Republican Army were so overtly romanticized in films like Harrison Ford’s 1992 epic “Patriot Games”.

Or even before that in John Wayne’s 1952 yarn “The Quiet Man,” co-starring the now deceased Maureen O’Hara. Where the IRA was irrevocably reverenced as a sort of good guy vs. bad guy organization to ensure fairness “between gentlemen,” and or “the Marquess of Queensberry rules will be reserved at all times…”

But just look at how far we’ve come.

Gone are the days of romance and lure. Instead. Now. We are left with less than romantic notions of this:

CLEARLY the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS, ISIL & Daish) is the new ‘attention seeking’ Irish Republican Army (IRA) of today via the CIA.

And now meet a man named Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Mr. al-Baghdadi is the new Sinn Fein (Irish Republican Army Council Leadership Corps) for ISIS today. Watch.

And there’s reason to believe that this man was trained by not only the Central Intelligence Agency but the famed British MI5 organization as well as Israel’s Mossad.

And we know for a fact that wherever John McCain goes in the world, trouble follows. Most notably with the Free Syrian (Civil War) Army and his encouragement, as well as that of former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s encouragement, of the CIA involving themselves in long-standing sectarian squabbles [for years] in the Middle East.

McCain, like so many in our US Intelligence Community, need to be brought up on charges before the American people and the free Peoples of this world, still, before its to late.

There is no doubt that the US Government created ISIS, ISIL, Diesh or Desch BUT it will take the free Peoples of this world, united in service and in love of peace and freedom, to undo it.

Saving face, the Debauchery that went on at the Clinton Correctional Facility; #RichardMatt, #DavidSweat

DANNEMORA, New York – It’s been twenty-two days since Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility. And it would appear that at least one of the two has been shot and killed by a group of police officers in a cabin near Malone, NY. according to this report, late yesterday, from The New York Times.

And with Mr. Sweat still at large time, it appears, is on the side of authorities.

Here’s the thing. Twenty-two days ago America, much less upstate New York knew little of Richard Matt and David Sweat except to say they were, are, two cold-blooded killers who escaped from a, “maximum security facility in upstate New York”.

Further, America, much less upstate New York knew nothing of the facts surrounding what got this escape-real-life-soap-opera started in the first place. A prison social worker, a guard, and two inmates desperate to just get out would weave a tale of lies, deceit, and deception not seen in decades. All aided and abetted by a Warden, a State Penal System, and a once great State’s own Governor.

The Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo is the 56th and current Governor of the State of New York.

He is the son of political icon and personal hero of this blogger at least, Mario M. Cuomo, and brother to famed CNN ‘New Day’ Anchor Chris Cuomo.

Andrew Matthew Cuomo ran on a Sun, Moon, and the Stars will align and shine bright once again over New York State if I am elected in 2010.

Assuming office in January of 2011 he has been serving in that capacity since.

One of the things he promised in his sun, moon and stars platform for Governor was, “prison reform”. To his credit, stopping what his father did so many years ago in the Empire State by adding prisons, and prison beds throughout the State – a fatal flaw to be sure. Hey! Nobody’s perfect, right?

But the point is, is that Cuomo opened the doors to out-and-out cold-blooded killers with weekend passes, and jaunts to the local meat market, just down the street from the Clinton Correctional facility in places like Dannemora. (At least to the white ones anyways.)

That’s right, Richard Matt and David Sweat got weekend passes, and ventured outside the prison walls to places like the local ice cream shoppe and the butcher down the street from the prison! So you can say, rightly, that they took advantage of Andrew Cuomo’s, “prison reform.”

So to did they take advantage of their social worker, and one of the main-stay guards in the shop at the prison. What they couldn’t get from the loved-starved social worker they got from the good ole boy guard over the carpentry shop at Clinton Correctional Facility. (As of today the social worker is in jail awaiting trial, and the good ole boy guard just got arrested the other day. White to, by the way!)

Mr. Glenn Ford, Louisiana’s once longest-serving death row inmate, until his release in 2014, for the crime of murder, in the first degree, which he did not commit.

I would just like to say that I am all for prison reform – across the board; broadly, fairly, and equal prison reform for all though. Especially in the care and concern of good folks like Mr. Glenn Ford of New Orleans and the Angola 3 as PERFECT examples of the need for prison reform, especially for these four men. With two of the Angola 3 long dead now, and Mr. Ford dying of asbestos based lung cancer from nearly thirty years in solitary confinement.

[None of these men, all African-Americans, ever committed any of the crimes to which they had been accused of and wrongfully imprisoned for. None!]

But Richard Matt and David Sweat, twice over, proven killers. White. Got the run of the place. Where as good folks like the Angola 3, and Mr. Glenn Ford weren’t just thrown under the footers of the infamous Angola prison, they were thrown there, and left to die, all, for crimes that they DID NOT COMMIT.

Someone complained to me, not long ago, that I don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to this story, that I am out over my skis in the case of Escape at Clinton Correctional Facility when it comes to even discussing the issue. Well. As someone who knows first hand what it’s like to go to prison for a crime that you didn’t even commit. And to be treated, handled as I was for something that I did not do I beg to differ. I am an expert in my field.

But that’s okay BECAUSE My God is Good! All the Time. He sustained me, and set me free! Cleared my name, and has renewed and restored me a 1,000 fold. And for that I am eternally grateful.

But what’s funny is when I was in, when folks like Glenn Ford and the Angola 3 were in there was no such thing as prison reform, second chance opportunities, etc. It was you are a convict, and you’ll be treated as such. Set down, shut up, and like it OR else.

Now though. If you’re white, privileged or the like, murder someone in cold blood, you will be treated like a King in prison, especially at a cupcake place like Dannemora. But if you’re black, poor, and disadvantaged you’ll be lucky to survive much less thrive in a prison like the one at Dannemora.

It is often said that government is as only as good as the people who elect it, and that once in power government can only do so much. I say it is in the kinds of people that we are forced to elect.

For to long we have had only two major political parties across this country to choose from on Election Day.

We are told, as Voters, that this is all that there is, pick one, vote, shut up, and go away. Told, somehow, that this is all that you have to choose from. Your only options. Political alternatives won’t work in this country. After all this is the United States of America so… Unite behind somebody America! Shut up, and we’ll call you if there’s a war or some other major catastrophic event.

With all due respect I call bullshit! And here’s why.

For to long now Washington, D.C. and the major State Capitols across this Land have become breeding grounds for; debauchery, skulduggery, antipathy, complacency, and selective outrage – among many other things.

All the while, wondering aloud, why when a handful of us rise up in one accord and expose them for the rat bastards that they are.

And have the nerve to come back to us every four to six years and with hat and hand, one good eye and a straight face ask us to send them back to Washington and State Capitol buildings across the land to profit off the deaths of millions at the expense of a few.

Telling us, in so many words, “Republicans are against everything that the Democrats want to do, and Democrats are against everything that Republicans want to do. So what else can we do? But send me back to government because I’m a working for you America!”

It is one big giant circle jerk folks! A veritable firing squad and We the People are caught in its center. Taking the brunt, and being the butt of their moral equivalency.

You know I’ve never known one member of either a third political party, an Independent or Decline to Say to have any of the problems that folks with D’s or R’s behind their names do. Not one.

Yet. We are told that Republicans and Democrats are the only ones that can get anything done. Why then were Richard Matt and David Sweat allowed to escape from the Clinton Correctional Facility under Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo’s control?

Why hasn’t Cariol Holloman-Horne, a former Buffalo, NY. Police Officer with an impeccable record of service, been given her pension, yet, under Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo?

Holloman-Horne did nothing wrong! She was simply trying to keep a fellow officer from wrongfully assaulting – to death, nearly – someone who he had placed under arrest.

And yet Cariol Holloman-Horne has been subjugated and relegated to the corner per Governor Cuomo’s request, as has her family. Being treated as second class citizens simply for asking and seeking justice on Mrs. Holloman-Horne’s behalf. Why? Answer: Because she is African-American. And because when white people run the World as they do there is nothing more than chaos, confusion and debauchery.

BUFFALO, New York – This is Christmas and a time for miracles.

That is what we are praying for in the nature of the* Cariol Holloman-Horne Case.*

If you’ve been keeping up with ‘the Jones-es’ as they say then you know that Mrs. Holloman-Horne is the police officer who in 2006 was involved in an altercation with former fellow police officer Gregory Kwaitkowski that got her fired and has denied her access to her pension and benefits ever since.

Because the New York State & Local Retirement System (N.Y.S.L.R.S.) and the Buffalo Police Department have teamed up to keep her from what she has well-earned after nineteen years of dedicated and professional service with the B.P.D.

By all accounts Officer Holloman-Horne was a career civil servant and an outstanding officer of the law. Dedicating herself in the nineteen years that she had had with the police force for Buffalo, NY. to protecting and serving the public at large.

A true policeman’s policeman and someone who would give of her time and attentions selflessly without cause or reservation. But on 01 November 2006 suddenly all that hard work, dedication, sacrifice and service was brought into question when in response to a domestic disturbance call she became involved in an altercation with fellow officer Gregory Kwaitkowski.

An altercation which led to her termination and then Officer Kwaitkowski’s life on easy street.

According to Cop Block Officer Kwaitkowski received his full pay, benefits and pension while Officer Holloman-Horne was fired and has been denied since about 2008 access to her benefits and pay. Additionally she has been denied her pension and is forced to work as a truck driver to provide for her family.

And although Officer Holloman-Horne has no regrets and would do it all over again she shouldn’t have to.

You see she is just one of many police officers in that ‘thin blue line’ doing the right thing for all the right reasons. Risking life and limb daily for you and me only to be told, “Well you, you can’t stop a fellow officer for beating and then choking an already handcuffed suspect. You can’t keep that officer from ‘investigating’ the matter further. Spending that all-important quality time in that space that exists between a left hook and a nose bone. You can’t interrupt that quality time Officer Holloman-Horne and because you did, well, well your fired and you’re under arrest for obstructing justice and assaulting a fellow officer of the law…”

Fast forward to today. Folks we have a real opportunity to help Officer Holloman-Horne here. To help her and her Family to get her pension and benefits that she has and they have well-earned.

It would be one thing if Cariol Holloman-Horne broke the law, really and truly. Obstructed justice and assaulted a fellow officer in-the-line-of-duty. She should be found wanton and remain there. But she was simply trying to stop the assault of a fellow human being who was handcuffed, subdued. In police custody.

Instead all she was doing at the time was responding to a ‘officer assist’ call. And in the process got her teeth knocked out by a right hook that would make ‘Marvelous’ Marvin Haggler envious.

She deserves. Her family deserves better. Tonight this petition was started on change.org on her behalf. Please. Please. Please. Sign this petition to N.Y.S.L.R.S., New York State Comptroller DiNapoli and New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo to help get her Pension! She did nothing wrong, and her family should not have to suffer any longer than what they have.

And then, after you sign the petition, please, please, please share this story with your social media circles on Cariol and her Family’s behalf. Thank you.

[Cops In The NEWS] Fired Buffalo police officer fights for pension after stopping fellow cop from strangling suspect

BUFFALO, New York – Now fired Buffalo Police Officer Cariol Horne is in another fight for her life just as she was in against a former fellow police officer and someone who she even once called a ‘friend’.

She is now in a battle with New York State to get her pension and back pay from nearly 19 years of service on the job as a dedicated public servant on that ‘thin blue line’.

Then Officer Horne was responding to a call for help from a fellow officer involved in settling a domestic disturbance where one person was arrested and then beat while in handcuffs by the officer she called a friend.

Incidentally this officer was forced to retire but he received full benefits and back pay without cause or question. Officer Horne instead was charged with ‘obstructing justice. interfering in an investigation and assaulting a fellow officer with her hand’.

She was arrested. Lost her job. And her benefits & pension.

Now comes the war in this process. Lines have been drawn as the State Board of Pensions is entrenched with career politicians and special interest ridden favorites.

Ms. Horne has an uphill battle but she has retained legal counsel and outside advocacy groups and civic-minded organizations are helping her as well.
